Per fess wavy Azure (Cobalt Blue) and Celeste, a fess wavy Argent, in chief an embattled keystone Or charged with two barrulets wavy of the second and in base three mines pilewise Sable spiked Silver Gray.


CREST

Issuant from a wreath Argent and Azure (Cobalt Blue) two evergreen trees Proper, overall an anchor Or bearing on its shank an eight-pointed compass rose of the last surmounted by four-pointed star of the second.


MOTTO

A scroll Argent, edged Gules, doubled and inscribed FOREVER BONDED FOREVER PROTECTED Azure (Cobalt Blue).

A boathook Proper and trident Argent (Silver) in saltire.

Symbolism

SHIELD

The wavy division of the shield symbolizes superior seamanship and navigation of the focused mission cutter, SEA FOX. The gold embattled keystone denotes excellence in military support and the mission of providing transport protection for Navy submarines. The two wavy bars run side by side to denote the partnership between the Navy and Coast Guard. The mines are taken from the patch worn by the crew of the USS SEA FOX and mark two enemy ships sunk and one damaged during WWII patrols.


CREST

The gold anchor and compass rose denote the mission of transport protection for Navy submarines. The blue four-pointed star is a symbol of excellence in navigation. The evergreen trees represent Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, the home of CGC SEA FOX.


SUPPORTERS

The boathook is emblematic of the rich heritage of the Coast Guard, and the silver tridents three tines denote the missions of search and rescue, law enforcement and ensuring national defense.


MOTTO

FOREVER BONDED FOREVER PROTECTED was the motto of the submarine USS SEA FOX and carries on for the crew of USCGC SEA FOX the mutual bond for mission success and protection during transport out to sea and return to homeport.


SEAL

The coat of arms as blazoned in full color on a white disc within a dark blue designation band, edged with a gold chain border and bearing the name USCGC SEA FOX at top and WPB 87374 at base.
